Children Sunday School is back!

We started the Children Sunday School in September!
It is on every 2nd and 4th Sunday.

We sing, tell stories, do crafts & drawing, laughter, noise and fun etc...
Let's welcome one of our Sunday School teachers, Joanna Kwok. Thanks for her ministry and love for children. Please remember to pray for our children ministry!

Ministry is team work with the love of God.

Just to say Thank you to those who help and support while I am with the children during Sunday School time: David Li, who translates the sermons and Jessica Shi who plays the piano the worship services.

Choir Notes

Since we don't have a choir at this time. Some of us plan to sing for you during the Advent Season.

We are trying to help people realize that the Lord is real, and He loves everyone. A choir's purpse is more than just creating beautiful music. It has a transforming and inspiring mission - to bring people together through singing and praising our Lord, and is a missionary tool of the Church. Why don't you condsider joining us in the adventure!

Please contact Dorothy Chu at church 604-261-2442

Fellowship

The members of the congregation take turns hosting the "Fellowship Hour" after worship each Sunday. All are invited and welcome to share in the beverages, snacks and baking provided. The free-will offerings received go to support the ministries of the congregation. This is a great opportunity to meet others, get to know our guests and visitors, and each other. It is a time to share each others joys and sorrows, celebrations and burdens, and strengthen the bonds of friendship and caring.

Join us after worship in the hall downstairs for mutual conversation and caring.

Prayers

We remember in prayer the sick, suffering and shut-in members and friends of our congregation. Those for whom we pray each Sunday during worship and others. We give thanks to the Lord for the recovery of those who were sick and rejoice knowing them well again. Please notify our Pastoral Care Minister, Dorothy Chu, if you have any concern or personal needs asking for intercessional prayer. 604.261.2442

Your donated kits and quilts make a real difference in the lives of others.

Lutheran Planned Giving

Lutherans believe God has blessed us richly. Some have been blessed with assets that have accumulated in excess of our daily needs. A planned gift usually comes from these assets, although you do not need to be wealthy to make a planned gift. You, as the donor or giver of the gift, decide: What your gift will be, when it goes into effect, who will benefit from it and how it will be managed. Careful planning also allows you to maximize the tax benefits of charitable giving. Gifts can be in cash, investments, real estate, in your will, in life insurance, or a gift annuity providing you with a guaranteed income for life.

For more information call toll-free to 1-888-308-9461, fax 905 634-2428 or email lpg@worldchat.com. A brochure on “Planned Gifts” is available from the church office. Thank you, for your gifts to the church to further its mission and ministries.
