OUR TEAM
Pastor Karli Baldwin serves as the lead pastor of Oakridge Lutheran Church. In addition to her pastoral ministry, she is also a dedicated educator at a local Christian school. With over 20 years of experience in spiritual leadership, Pastor Karli brings a deep well of wisdom, compassion, and theological insight to her role.
Her preaching is rooted in Scripture and shaped by her background in education offering messages that are both biblically sound and practically relevant to daily life. Her sermons invite reflection, growth, and a deeper understanding of God’s truth.
Karli is not only a pastor and teacher but also a spiritual director, a wife, and a proud mother of two young adults. She began serving at Oakridge Lutheran Church in 2023 and was officially called as pastor in January 2025. Her heart for discipleship, community, and Christ-centered teaching continues to bless and strengthen our church family.
Our Church Council is made up of seven dedicated individuals who provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations, spiritual health, and overall direction of our church community. These elders bring a wide range of experience from spiritual leadership and law to building management and beyond. Each one uses their unique God-given gifts to serve the church and glorify His Kingdom.
In addition to our Council, we’re blessed with a team of faithful volunteers who lead worship through music, manage our screens and recordings, and create a welcoming environment through weekly hospitality during coffee hour. Every role is filled by those who serve joyfully and generously, helping to make our church a vibrant, Spirit-led community.
Oakridge joined the Canadian Associations of Lutheran Congregations known as 'CALC' in early 2025. CALC is a federally-chartered church body formed to unite, serve, equip, encourage and empower congregations and individuals who share a common belief that:
The Holy Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
Our faith and life is rooted in and is shaped by the Holy Bible and our Lutheran Confessions.
Our mission is found in Christ’s Great Commission: His call to us to be His disciples and make others His disciples.
